Im on a channel with about 7 or 8 bots on 3 or 4 shells. I recently installed mc_protect.ops.tcl in all of the bots. I have it set to +d anyone that tryes to Deop an op. When I tested it on indevidual users it worked fine. However one of the ops was able to mas deop all the bots and other ops. So my...

I get a "(timed-out userfile transfer)" with my hub and two leaf bots. However they HAVE been working fine with no probs. They all sync fine till the userfile part. Ive rechecked all the hosts, botflags, channel flags. Everything seems to check out. :-? Is there a list of eggdrop errors so...

Im looking for a simple script that will ban on /msg text

Specificly /msg botname pass text

But the more configurable, the better.
Ive been looking all over the place with no luck.

Does "Failed connection; aborted userfile transfer"

When my leaf bot is opped and my hub joins channel It Does "Failed connection; aborted userfile transfer" a bunch of times, then finaly connects. And transfers the user file. When hub is opped and leaf joins, no problem at all.

Wouldnt ctcp #channel text flood as bad as a msg chan flood? BTW I found a small tcl that does the trick. And thanks for the info. Ive been in irc a long time and did a little scripting. VERY little. Sentinal not working on ctcp #chan

Im kinda new so forgive. In sentinel I have "set sl_ccflood 3:20" And sentinel loads in all the bots. No errors. In the channel window I did a one second timer for /ctcp #chan hello It kept repeating every second. I figured it would kick me after 3 repeats. But it didnt. What am I missing?...
