is the same with:

channel set #mychannel +bitch +enforcebans -greet +revenge

or anything

the error is on this line "channel add"

Thanks Turambar but i just have:

channel add #mychannel {
chanmode "+ntlikm"
idle-kick 0
}
channel set #mychannel

...and does not work.
Commenting these lines the error disappears, but the boot not join on channel.

.op command not recognized

i have installed eggdrop today for 1st time, but i have used it before.
usually i get op, login on bot from telnet and typing ".op nick channel".
but when i try this right now, the bot does not recognize this command.
what can be wrong?

problem with # char in eggdrop.conf

hi!

when i try to edit the conf file and add the bot in a channel....

channel add #channel {
chanmode.....

i get: "ilegal channel option"

the same if i add a \ before # to escape.

anybody can help me?
