Hi What i had to do to solve this problem was mess around and read for ages, what you need to read is ##### MORE ADVANCED SETTINGS ##### in your eggdrop config. My box has an ip of 10.1.1.100 but the router has in open via DMZ i guess eggdrop dident like this but anyway i fixed it with these 2 lines...

actually i have no clue what the problem is/was ( has been resolved) i think the main problem was me being lazy and using an auto configure script to make the config that my shell provider offers, as soon as i did a config via hand it all linked & shared fine
