its OK sorted it out..

i deleted the 2 user files( the actual .user and it backup)

then started the bot with -m switch again.

did the bot hello (or rather another word i use)

and it works ok now...

i put my bot on a different server and now i cant get on the partyline?

ive tried deleting the user file, ive tried all sorts

nothing lets the bot see me..

if i /ctcp bot chat

nothing either


when i telnet in... and do a .whoami
its says im HQ??

Update... i have had my whole channel G-lined now..... they kicked out over 100 users and closed the channel??? demon1.uk.quakenet.org: Badchanneled (Shareing sat codes on Quakenet aint allowed) well now i know why.... i dont think this is related to the Bot being G-lined yesterday, as the bot doesn...

And don't forget, your bot will have been g-lined for a reason, they don't g-line for random things. i have installed the script.. thats the reason i need to know... because as we speak my bot is back on channel, with nothing changed?? so in theory, it will be G-lined again for the same thing.... w...

oh right, i thought a k-line was a permanent ban... well anyway, i restarted the bot with the -nt command and nothing shows up... :( looks like ill never know? is there a way of logging these things... just in case it happens again (hopefully not) if it had been me G-lined, at least i would have rea...

i have a problem with my OPs opping other friends, and its getting tiresome i have unOPed some good operators because of this... they do it when im no on channel (then i check logs) is there a script available or can one be made. Taking into consideration its on Quakent and we have L could a script ...

not that i want to complain about a great script.. but some of the users are getting kicked and then asking why they wasnt warned first!! when i explained..... they say it was'nt clear enough... as they were concentrating on the chat window? is there anyway.. to make the warning a red colour in the ...

well i added another channel in the bot.conf file and the bot joined... then all hell broke loose, it was banning people left right and centre!! i unbanned them in the mirc topic window... and the bot re added them!! so i went to the partyline and problem there is no mention of this other channel on...
