Okie, recently i had configed another .conf file for my botty. Its nickname was [JY]-001, and so when i ./eggdrop -m, it will say that the nickname has errors.
After removing the [] from [JY]-001, it was able to load. Therefore eggdrop does not support [].
What can i do if i would really wanna use [] ?

The config file, is actualy just a TCL script.
TCL uses [] to trigger commands. If you wish to use [ and ] in the nickname, use the following format.
set nick "[JY]-001"
