Try using gmake instead, or alternatively speak to your server admin and suggest politely that he set his server up for the use he's advertising it for.

This is a system setup issue, and not related to eggdrop.
the "make" command is a seperate package.
The program make, will look through a file called Makefile, and parse the contents. 99% of the time, it's use to compile software.
If you allready have the Make program on the system, you should into updating the PATH environment to reflect it's location.

Darth Vader: Doing that doesn't find out whats wrong and if you missed any thing. I like to find and fix the problem weather its my system or a bum file.
I found out that the "make" file was missing :-/
Thanks ppslim, Ian-Highlander, and Darth Vader for your help.
And Thanks to the Eggdrop programers for adding Halfops to the bot this year!

Install the development packages for your system.
9/10 times they include make.
