I have downloaded eggdrop and am completely confused
Plus do i need spicial webspace to be able to run this bot , atm i only have php4 webspace ??

Well i am a complete newbie at this and i am after some kind of idiots guide on how to configure and install a bot in my Quakenet Channel
I have downloaded eggdrop and am completely confused

You don't need any sort of webspace to run an eggdrop.
My best sugestion, would be to read all the docs that come with eggdrop, and most of the stuff on www.egghelp.org.
While we will provide help for people, we will not help other that can't help tehmselves.
