I've not had a chance to test this on the newest version, maybe it's fixed there, but I'm having problems working with users who have a username of -
The bot turns *!-@tmnet.my into *!@tmnet.my
Is there something I should do to correct this?

I beleive the - is stripped, due to the fact, that - is not in the standard, and should not realy be in use.
