can't get bogustrivia to start

I issue the command: /msg MyBot .mix
and it will mix the questions four times but when I try to start the game with
/msg MyBot .t2

it won't do anything. Am I using the right command?

The start and stop commands are public commands.

Do .t2 in the trivia channel.
