A user is known by the bot, because he just said hello to him. The i set the user +av on my channel using .chanset USER +av #HTP! But whenever the USER joins the channel the bot never voices him. He also seems that he cannot see the user..
Yes the hostmask only is correct on that specific user. I guess the problem is this: When i start the eggdrop, he enter all channels. But whenever i try to use .status he only says that he is trying to enter the channel!
I am on the Quakenet, i don`t know whcich ircd version it is
When i first started my eggdrop 2 month ago, he does all right. He has joined every channel, has known all users and so on. Now he seems to have harder problems. I deleted all files generated from stats.mod and tcl script, even the user.dat, channels.dat etc. But the problem is there again
I alaways get problems when i set the bot to more than 1 channel.
If I set him to the chan written in the conf, he is asking for OPs, and opping me and other users. When i add another channel, he stops begging for OP and also to voice or op other user...
This is all a result of one thing. Eggdrop does not know he is in the channel.
This has been known to heppen on non-RFC compatible networks, of whihc, I am unsure about quakenet (allthough, I have seen threads about this with quakenet before).
There is not much you can do, unless some1 is willing to look deeper into it (which I currently don't have the time for), to see if it is related to non-RFC type /who replies.
I had found the error. When the Qnet disconnects my bot, and he connects again he cannot join the channels as quaickly as he would like to. Then all channels are marked as "pending"! When i remove all then and add them again it works fine
1.6.12 had a bit of a problem with autovoice and the +g flag. It has been fixed in 1.6.13 CVS (see README for information on how to obtain CVS versions).
