When i do ./eggdrop -m <config> at the end of editing the .conf file it goes about 8 lines down and says "You did'nt edit the config file like you were told did you?"

I've tried about 4 times and stil get this same message... I know I edited the config file since it took me about 1 1/2 hours to do, I edited the server.advanced.conf but renamed it to the bots name .conf.

What could the problem be and how can I fix it?

btw its 1.6.6

If you read through the file carful enough, you will find the problem.

It is marked in plane english stating:
# comment out this next line, otherwise your bot won't start
die "You didn't edit your config file like you were told, did you?"

How about you read through *ALL* the example configuration file, and do what it tells you to do.
