When my bot is saying more than one line, there's a delay between the two lines of 1 second. Also, when I join the channel with the eggdrop, I get OP about 1 second after I've joined. Is there anyway to get rid of this delay?

Thanks in advance!
Sorry I don't have a solution to your problem, but I think i have an explanation. Eggdrop has a queue system for output bound for the server. One of its responsibilities is to ensure that eggdrop doesn't flood itself off by sending too much data at once. Perhaps this is what you are experiencing. I have assumed that you ruled out 'lag' as a cause of this.
OK - as mike stsated, the delay between lines of text, is becuase of the queue system, it is advised to keep using the queue, else eggdrop will flood itself off pretty easy (even more easier, if you have noticed the delay).
As for the second delay problem. It sounds like you are using auto-op. I strongly advise against using auto-op, as it can be a large security risk (allthough, there are legitimate reasons for using it, I am yet to find one though).
Ping times of this size are incredibly small. Anything under 4 seconds is considered acceptable, over that, I would look into changing servers to reduce the lag.
With ping times of your type though, lag is allmost non-existant.
