As a rule of thimb, when it's released.
They releas eggdrop, based on what changes have taken place, and if somthing serious enough pops up, that it's a requirment.
From looking at the time between releases, it could be another 2 to 3 months yet, before we see 1.6.14. Howver, it wcould alos be tomorow.

it runs perfectly..and have done fore a couple off years now..so..if something works dont touch it =))
I have an 1.6.10 and one 1.6.12 too..but i still like the old 1.1.5 most

Very true. A lot of people comment on the older versions being best, and the whole speal.
Just remember, it's old, unsupported, and hell if somthing goes wrong.
