Ignore a linked bot

Post by BesigedB »

I would like to ignore a bot's broadcasts: every time my bot sends out a bseen message to other bots one comes back with a spanish message that would otherwise be ignored because it is a negative reponce:
[00:11:58] -Oxanna- BesigedB, I don't remember seeing pb.
[00:12:00] -Oxanna- BesigedB, TaWyErS says: BesigedB, creo que nunca he visto a pb.
Is there any way to ignore any message this bot puts out as it is 3 hops away, linked to a hub I have no control over. I have attempted contacting the owner though they seem less than cooperative, and i'm sure it is blocking legitimate messages from other bots as bseen by design only shows the first responce.

Thanks in advance,
B

There is a botflag, to ignore certain parts of the botnet (see .help whois), however, I don't know if it affects this type of messages.

Otherwise, you would have to hack in some form of block system, so you can define which bots to listen too on the botnet.

From what I understand, you can only place this flag, on a directly linked bot (IE, one hope away).

This may cause the issue of half the botnet being unable to properly contact you bot, but there is allmost no otherway, without the code changes noted.
