Totally newbie

Hello.
I am totally newbie with all the eggdrops stuff.
So my question is, actually few question:

Hmm, I've opened an server on my box with IRCXpro, and I wanted to know how can I bring an eggdrom into it (im using win 98, plz gimme direct link if there any for downloading eggdrop for this OS).
Another question is, if I would download the eggdrop and set it up into my server, will it stay there after I get disconnect?

there exists a windows port of eggdrop poplularily called 'windrop'

you can get it here:
http://windrop.sourceforge.net/

if you are running an ircserver and eggdrop on the same box, then i imagine the eggdrop would have a very stable connection to the server
