mass changing flags

When I first started using my eggdrop I made everybody that should be voiced +g (global auto-voice). I now wish that they would of been set +v so I could have only one bot voice when people join instead of 5 or 6. What i'm looking for is a way to change everybody that's +g to +v

may not be the solution you seek, but try

.chanset #chan aop-delay 1:20

or something like that. autovoice uses the aop-delay aswell.

you open your userfile with a text editor and replacing for example hpgvx to hpvx in the whole userfiles

. and reload the userfiles with .reload in partyline after it.

De Kus, thats probably the worst example you could sugest.

He wants to change 1 from to another.

Thus replacing g with v, would allmost corrept the file no end.

There is a script in the Tcl archive (I think. If not, it's on Bseen). It's called masschattr, or .mc, off the top of my head I can't remember.
