Flood from @localhost.localdomain! Placing on ignore!

Post by H3g3m0n »

Every time i start my bot it puts localhost.localdomain on the ignore list. I origionaly thought it was ignoring itself but i realise that its actually the server its ignoring as the server gives its own hostname as localhost.

[18:23] -NickServ (services@localhost.localdomain)- This nickname is registered and protected. If it is your

How do i stop it from doing this its very anoying and appears to be unable to join the main channel i want it in because of it.

Also my bot appears to kick people after 5 lines in a row. I canrn't figure out where the option to change that is.

Add the services as an user and give it +f flag.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

and note to change it via chanset and not in eggdrop.conf cause this settings will be overwritten from these out of the .chan file.

First: weeee... 600-st post :)

Second: arcane/De Kus : that's a *bot* notice not a *channel* notice, so the flood-chan dosen't apply to this. doh!

Strangly enough i rebooted the server and now it is connecting to the channel without any problems, must be some weird linux clutter. I don't think it was the localhost ban that was stoppping it. I think ive found the entries i need to fiddle with to fix the kicking.
