my eggy deops a friend and i cant stop it !

hi i dont know what to do

my eggy deops him because he once deopt it and now i dont know what to do . some facts:

.chanset is on -revenge
the user doesnt have a d flag
only i ( n flag) can op him, even the publik !op name command , performed by me doesnt work

and the userfile says: COMMENT: (01 Mar) deopped Immortal-Q- on #° (Corrxxx@xxx.xxx.xx)

please help me i did everything but nothing worked

.whois him.. he probably has a channel specific +d flag
-revengebot read the description in the conf to see exactly what it does..

Also you may want a .match +d and remove all +d's from the rest of your friends, if any have same problem.

no as i already said, he has NO d flag and revenge is OFF but still only i can op him (+n) dont know why !!

The answer is, he does have +d, but you are just not looking in the right place.

The revenge system is designed, so that only users known to the bot can have +d.

Thus, if a person that the bot doesn't know (or in this instance, does, but just doen't match a hostmask at this time), is picked on, a new users is added.

I can remember the user, but it increment a number of the end, for each new one it adds.

Do a ".match +d" as told, and you will find the user.

but, anyway i tried .match +d and the result was :

then i tried: .match *

and that was my probleme ! the d was not under "flags"

but thx anyway you did help me, since i didnt think that the prob. came from the d flag
