I've got some problems with the configuration of my eggdrop now..

i make all settings but it doesnt work. has somebody a config-file for demonstration?

not the standart configuration please. one with only the essentials

All configuration settings are essential.

Eggdrop was published with 3 config files, until a few versions ago.

This was because people frequently asked why this wouldn't work, why this was doing somthing else, and other stupid bits. 99% of the time, it was because they used a config file, that didn't show the settings they needed.

In the end, the complete file was published, to stop questions like that.

If you ask specific questions, regarding the problems you are having with the file, we can and will try to help with them.

Asking for a config file as an example?
Simply use the one provided with eggdrop, there is no other example needed, and any other example, will be the same, with some of the settings changed.

and as a small hint: READ the comments in the config-file :D
it isnt that hard (me is also new to eggdrop and got it on the first try) :D
you'll get it!
there are masses of pages that explain you all the settings in the config-file.
