Error message "bot is not in the botnet"

Post by nik39 »

Hi,

I've set up 2 bots, one as a hub the other as a leaf. It looks like they are linking to eacht other, verified with listing ".bots"... But why the heck does this message pop up all the time on the hub-bot

">>>>> bot is not in the botnet"

Any one got a clue?

Thanks

It sounds like a script is trying to send a message to another bot that doesn't exist.

What scripts are you running.

Okay, I figured it out, was trying to use a ss-bot, and there was a misleading configuration option, name "name of botnet" or something. I though I had to supply the name of the botnet (well, now I am not sure whether such a name exists, or is used...). What they certainly meant was the name of the other bot to connect.

Thanks for your time :-)
