Anyone been having similiar issues with 1.6.15 as MC_8, i won't upgrade my botnet until this seems to be resolved
http://faq.purehype.net/?view=446
If your using eggdrop version 1.6.14 or 1.6.15;
This is a bug in eggdrop version 1.6.15 (and 1.6.14 if you got it to
compile). Sometimes the need-op option will not work, this bug also
affects scripts which rely on these functions, such as getops.tcl and the
netbotop module.
This bug apparantly only shows itself in special situations, however at
the time of writing, there doesn't seem to be any specfic circumstances
for this to happen; it seems to work for some channels, yet for others,
it doesn't. I suggest you try another version of eggdrop. At the time of
writing, 1.6.15 is the newest version avalible, so I suggest you try
1.6.13 (.14 was a dud). 1.6.13 is very stable and has a working need-op.
If you are not using 1.6.15, then it is probabily a error with your setup
or the script's/module's settings.
