hi all,

my problem is the following;
I can't find out what my vhost is, a result of that I can't connect to any server. ( problem.: uhive@255.255.255.255 )

I need to find out my vhost, but the /vhosts command don't work. Is there any script out there to find my vhost?

many greets,

UltraHiVe

I have never seen a server allow you on as the IP 255.255.255.255

you usualy type "vhost" or "ircinfo" at the shell prompt, there is no need for the slash.

If these failt to work, contact the admin of the shell to find out.

I now see the error in your ways.

the uhive@255.255.255.255 is not the IP the bot is using. I get the feeling that this is the part of the message you get in the log files, as to why it can't connect to a server.

This message is displayed when there is no I-line matching the IP the bot is using. You can either contact the admin of the IRC server to have a I-line added, or try another IRC server on the network.

Until you can get it to connect to a IRC server, you will have to resort to asking the admin , or try the above 2 commands.
