When I open up a DCC Chat to my bot, all the special characters in the help/text files appear all all wierd. For example:
Eggdrop Bot wrote: (16:33:14) <GBLDevBot> DCC COMMANDS for GBLDevBot, eggdrop v1.6.15:
(16:33:14) <GBLDevBot> [1m who away quit whom me[0m
(16:33:14) <GBLDevBot> [1m page match motd bots newpass[0m
(16:33:14) <GBLDevBot> [1m chat handle whoami echo strip[0m
(16:33:14) <GBLDevBot> [1m su trace fixcodes bottree vbottree[0m
(16:33:14) <GBLDevBot> [1m botinfo relay -host[0m
Other than going through every single file for the eggdrop bot, how can I fix all of that? It just makes it a serious pain in the butt to read through all of it.

Either you use the ".fixcodes" or remove the "h" flag of your user via "chattr".
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
