Compatibility of Tcl8.4.3 with eggdrop 1.6

Maybe you guys already notice that the latest Tcl8.4.3 can't seem to coexist with eggdrop 1.6 series.

Some shells after installed Tcl8.4.3 were forced to downgrade back to a lower version because eggdrop 1.6 series simply can't work with it. The documents that came with eggdrop always suggest that we install the latest Tcl, I personally feel that this is very misleading.

can't seem to coexist how? I haven't heard of any reports.
