trigger on ignore

Post by ProXy »

Hello,

I just edited my eggdrop.conf, but I don`t understand the var trigger-on-ignore.
# If you want Eggdrop to trigger binds for ignored users, set this to 1.
set trigger-on-ignore 0
If I set this to 0, then binds will not be executed if an user is ignored. But what will haben to binds like join? Will even joins from an ignored user not be executed? Because this will mean, that peak-Scripts would show wrong values if ignored users are in the channel!

well, haven't experienced it before, but if the comment says that i won't create binds on ignored users, then probably it won't create join binds on them.
but getting to think of it, in IRC the joins still appear when ignored. so maybe the join binds won't be effected by that setting.

anyway try it.

If you set that to 1 then NO binds will be triggered by the ignored users. Anyway, give it a try, theoreticly it should be like I've said..
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
