STARTING BOT IN USERFILE CREATION MODE.
Telnet to the bot and enter 'NEW' as your nickname.
OR go to IRC and type: /msg inc03 hello
This will make the bot recognize you as the master.

[23:59] === inc03: 1 channels, 0 users.
Launched into the background (pid: xxxx)

You will need to telnet to the bot using (IP/Host Address):Port# to see what happened. You will have to login as NEW to begin then it will ask you for a login and pass.

I believe it says that in the site or in the docs..

you can simply exec the command: ./eggdrop -n file.conf

i'll get access to partyline, and see whats happening when connecting to network.

to quit exec : Control+C

fix the problem, and do it again, when the egg joins the channel you want, Control+C.

then exec to create file.user: ./eggdrop -m file.conf

message him "hello" :wink:

Alternately, you could look at the logs in the logs directory. They'll usually tell you what's wrong.
