testing of tcl script, ide?

Post by Bykte »

is there a ide for tcl scripting? do we need to do it in a shell account, then save it as .tcl in scripts folder and add the source in the conf each time?
any ideas how to code tcl and testing it w/o accessing the shell each time?

You can code or whatever a tcl script anywhere you have a text editor. When you want to use it then you must place it in the scripts/ dir, load it to your eggdrop and rehash.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

or you can enable the .tcl command, and script it directly on the bot, one line at the time ;)
