I need to run eggdrop, but what OS shoud I install. It shoud also share internet.

The eggdrop is designed to run on a *unix OS, there is a special *eggdrop* for windows called windrop. Pick one that suits your needs. Also, dosen't matter to much what hardware that pc has. I've had one eggdrop on a 468 pc with 16 RAM, 2GB HDD and the *list* can continue. 
It dose need internet connection if you want it to sit somewhere 24/7 or simple you want it to be a hub for a botnet or something like this, else start it when you need it or something.
