hello,
my eggdrop version is 1.6.15
but the bot dont change the nick to the original nickname if it is free.
why ?
bug in the eggdrop version 1.6.15 ?
i use the bots on ircnet.

set keep-nick 1


i use the anicolide script by mind version 0.3b too but the script have nick change problems wenn 2 bots colidet!

i think its a bug in eggdrop 1.6.15...

please help me!

I don't think this is a bug in 1.6.15 as I am using it and the bot always regains its nick as soon as it's available.
Is the channel where the bot is moderated ? If it is, the bot might be unable to change nicks. It would have to part, change nicks and rejoin.

The problem was the:
anticollide.tcl 0.3b 13/12/2001 MiNDiT

this script dont work with eggdrop 1.6.15
why ? i dont know but the bots would change the nick by colide a error came on the partyline.

i have this script unload with # on the netset tcl and .netupdate

all bots change automatic his nick :)

i use this script for alternative:

Anti Nick Collide 0.49 - Fitti 10

this works finely
