what's the best seen module/script

Post by Bytez »

Which one do you guys like? I use bseen at the moment, seems good but it doesn't tell me how long the user stayed in the channel unlike the seen.dll model supplied with eggdrop.

In eggdrop I use the gseen module which can be found in the TCL archives. The reason is simple, being a module it's more efficient and faster!

Wait, isn't a module different from a TCL script?? And, it'll be nice if the gseen can send a notice to the user insteda of to the channel.

yes a module is different from a tcl script.. and i believe to my knowledge its not in the tcl archive... it should be in the eggdrop files section.. It can send a notice instead of a privmsg as well

You're right, I didn't notice the lines on the bottom for sending out notice. are you talking about the gseen module? The default eggdropo.conf file shows: loadmodule seen but I don't see a seen.conf file
