Yeah I have that problem as well.

Edit --

Hmm..maybe they changed the code around on the forecast site or something?

The weather script uses: http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... ry=ZIPCODE

When .wzf is done in my channel nothing pops up at all. .wz works fine and so does .time, just no sunrise/sunset or forecast. Help.

I've been checking daily for this tcl to be updated by Murf, but when it hasn't happened for the last month or two, I just decided to try and quick-fix it myself. ;)

Everything seems to work for me now. I'm not totally sure posting this is a good thing because I didn't do much of the work to it, and I haven't contacted Murf to ask if I could fix it or anything. I know how frustrating waiting for a fixed version is though, so I'll post it and if its against the rules or something, just edit it out of my post.

NOTE: Don't contact me or the original author for help if it doesn't work. Just wait for him to put out an offical new version. Feel free to post in this thread if it doesn't work though. At this point, only I have tested it. I'm sure it will be only a couple more weeks before wunderground.com changes their layout YET AGAIN, making my fix here completely useless as well.

Oh well. I hope this helps everyone out until Murf puts out a new version. :)

In case this comes up again - Murf I think abandoned this script. He ignored my repeated attempts to contact him about releasing a patch - I fixed it once and privately released and the second time just said [censored] and released it here as well - Glad to see someone else can stand that horrid parsing thats needed. Cheers :)

Well do a search , or visit www.tclscript.com.

This new fixed version is working for me too now :) Thanks for fixing it m8. About contacting the creater , I can tell you personally , your wasting your time. Very few of them reply. Though I gotta say , Strikelight in his forum at TCLScript , and the cat at Scripters.BE , helped me nicely. Others just dont care. :(

There is methods to get stuff done and you have to do searches , and read and look , and join the forums , ect.

I hate this script, yet at the same time I love it. And no one else seems to ever fix this thing when the parsing goes wrong, so I fixed it again.

Here you go, enjoy til wunderground changes their format and it gets screwed up again. :)

Alternatively, I have released rawweather.tcl which parses raw METAR/TAF data from weather.noaa.gov ...
By parsing the raw data, it should result in a script that is less likely to break over time.... hope this helps...
