I am fairly new, have my bot running for 3 month now and so far everything was fine. Lately I have more and more trouble with him counteracting me after I have pinged out (happned very often these days on DDOSed networks) or got disconnected due to "abusing desynch" The only way to prevent us two from fighting then is make a clean reconnect with my client at home. But that can't be it I hope? I searched for any settings I may have overlooked but no luck. Is there a way to stop that?

Sort of, the server died and I pinged out, And stopnethackmode is set to 4 and I am registered as OP of course since I am the owner of the bot. But I tried that with mode 0 as well to be sure - no change. Still get kicked due to abusing desynch
check you revenge-mode too
and set all +/- options with 'revenge' on -
also you must have set the option +nodesynch
if you have you bot on more channels, you need to give channel names with it in the partyline command .chanset (see .help chanset)

No revenge mode on, no bitch mode on neither in the config nor in the partyline. This bot is not linked to others so I really do not understand this trouble at all.
If you are making your changes in the eggdrop's .conf file,
your changes will not take effect on already added channels, as the channel file settings override any .conf settings.
You should be using your bot's dcc command '.chanset'.
See .help chanset for more information.
