botnet and 99% cpu usage...

Post by GodOfSuicide »

I'm currently running 3 eggdrops on my server.

They are linked in a botnet:
bighub (in limbo mode)
|--ernesto (on network)
`-+kadamon (on network)

the flags for both of the leafs at the hubbot : bfgo
the flags for the hubbot at both of the leafs : ghp

when i link them when they are all running it really works fine (userfile shareing, etc)
but when one of the leafs goes down (restart, etc)this happens:
what the hub states :
leaf trys to link to the hubbot, link establishes, the leaf gets the userfile....complete..............leaf times out
what the leaf states:
Downloading user file from bighub
net: connect! sock 7
net: eof!(read) socket 7
then the leaf stops reacting and goes for the 99.9% CPU time

there is currently no botnet script enabled, and yes, all 3 bots are on the same server, have the same "my-ip" and have different ports for bots / users set
so each time i start a bot i have to remove him from the hub and add him again when he is loaded...

some many views and no response...seams i'm the only one with more than one bot by shell :(

hmm...if i remove the leaf bot's flags at the hub (-gs) the leaf starts up...
so it definitly has something to do with the userfile transfer

ok, seams like some .15 bug...with a fresh .13 it worked (some kinda)
