Hi,
I just installed eggdrop a few hours ago. I got it to go into the intended channel, so ar so good.
But the thing I want is that he OPs me and a few friends of mine. Can anybody explain me how I can make eggdrop to do that?
Thanks in advance

Don't use auto-op, very insecure.

Eyther you have the +a flag or the channel is +autoop
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

Once you have added your friends to the bots user list (see .+user)
If you want them to have global auto-op .chattr <nick> +a
or for a specific channel .chattr <nick> +a <#channel)

Not if some person is running a bnc and spoof a host easily. That's the reason why using a password is much safer.
