To be perfectly honest, I see no link what so ever, for the /msg op command, and nb_randomise.

Have you still got a log of the exact message given as an error.

ahaaa found whats up

i also use sureop1.5 tcl which if not loaded netbots4.05 works

the tcl works with 4.00 so there is a conflict between the 2 tcls

I will try and find a newer version of sureops if there isnt one i wont use it.

[09:33] <Cough> [10:34] TCL error [so:op:common]: called "nb_randomise" with too many arguments

was the error

Are you using version 1.5 of sureops, as there seems nothing wrong with either script.

There is a odd way of returning the list in sureops, but this is over wirtten by netbots way of doing things.

As mentioned in updates.txt the arguments for nb_randomise changed in 4.05, which will cause errors in third-party components that use nb_randomise the old way. The author of the script needs to update it to support 4.05 and later.

The latest version at http://dj.crew.bilder.nu/~fireegl/ appears to use its own randomiser proc which should fix your problem.
