how do i set ident? i heard something about bind ident msg

btw theres no identd running on the server....

You can't change the ident of your bot, unless you change your username on the shell.

The ident bind in eggdrop, is used to add a mask of your current hostname, to the eggdrops userlist, and is unrelated.

wrong, i have NO identd on my server. so it cant be the ident of the user.
the ident is "eggdrop" and i changed it. it uses the ident of the username if there is no identreply.

i sorted it. it was set username
