Is It Possible To Change The Ident ?
when my bot logs in to irc it uses the ident of my shell account name,
is it possible to change it or is this not possible.
so now it logs in like
botname trash@ipnumber
and trash is my user account name on the shell where the bot is running ?

your shell runs identd.. ask your admin if its possible or not, depends on the daemon ( not in your control )

if its an oidentd : search for this one in the forum and you'll find a TCL for setting the ident
