Hi ,
after installing Eggdrop 1.6.15 on a RedHat 7.3 System, i copied the "autobotchk" to my Eggdrop dir in /home/<USER>/eggdrop/ and set it to chmod u+x , and started it with ./autobotchk eggdrop.conf -10 and get the following :
autobotchk 1.10, (C) 2003 Jeff Fisher (guppy@eggheads.org)
------------------------------------------------------------
Opening 'eggdrop.conf' for processing ... done
Scanning the config file .............. done
Defaulting $botnet-nick to "|U|Slave"
Defaulting $pidfile to "pid.|U|Slave"
Wrote '|U|Slave.botchk' successfully (2278 bytes)
Scanning crontab entries ... done
Adding the new crontab entry ... done
Use 'crontab -l' to view all your current crontab entries
'crontab -r' to remove all your crontab entries
i checked it in the crontab list .. crontab was added.
Than i killed my bot (i tryed it with .DIE and another time with KILL <pid>)
waiting ... 10 Minutes .. 15 Minutes ... nothing happend.
Than i checked the system again and received an email from the cron deamon :
/bin/sh: /home/<USER>/eggdrop/: is a directory
/bin/sh: U: command not found
Anyone got an idea where the problem is ?
Maybe it got a problem with the "|"chars in the Bot nick ?
sinc. Bear
