Disabling remind?

Post by lepakki »

I don't know if this is a newbie question or not, but is there a way to disable that damn reminder eggdrop keeps sending for users without password.

Reminded user1 to set his/her password.
Reminded user2 to set his/her password.

Even after the users supply a password, it still keeps reminding them after every 30mins. That just blows.

And also, is there a way (without an external script) to make bot auto-op people who don't supply a password, I know it's risky but I'd like to use it that way. I'd like to have one user, like Oper, with multiple hostmasks and then it would op them whenever they join the chan.

I'm sorry if these have been talked over and over again, but I'm just too messed up with them reminders :)

The password reminding is a script it's not in the eggdrop itself.

You can make one user and add all the hostmasks and give it the flags +oa that will auto op them.

yeah, I noticed that it was a script that did that remind stuff.
removed it at once ;)

+ao seems to work fine, thanks for pointing that out.
