One side of the coin is the request that people use proper subject headings for questions.

The flipside of the coin is that once a thread is going you stay on topic. Further bashing ]Kami[ has nothing to do with the current topic. I was interested reading this thread, but it seems to end now in a personal kind of thing.

If you have an issue with ]Kami[ take it private, open a new topic or (preferred) dont bother about it.

Again with z_one, you can your comments. No problem, its "gain" thanx for correcting me. But that doesn't mean that game doesn't rhyme with pain ;) (its not necessary for a rhyme to have exactly the same letters) and it does make sense or else I wouldn't write it... because what you're living can be called a game, and to live it you have to go through pain (thats if you're willing to achive something). But yeah "No pain, no GAIN" :P is better. now leave me alone man, hehe

heh, its work either way..Either someones going to be closing/editing threads and thats going to be a mod or an admin....and no matter what you do/post/edit/close ppl are still going to do it..It happens at almost every forum out there...Simply ignoring the thread helps sometimes..

This thread confuses me as theres a bunch of topics maybe a mod/admin should edit/close it.. :P

also proper posting guidlines would be good, i have no intention to look into a tread called "help" "need a script" "omfg whats wrong with that", topics should contain the content and the directíon on the tread.
Indeed there are many subject headings like "help", "need a script", "need more help" etc.

But these posters do themselves a bad favor.

What happens is that the start of the thread with such a "help me" subject line gets read by users.
But when users come back the next day and there are 10 new postings, the one with the "help me" subject line gets ignored easily. And subsequently the thread dies off fast.

Users posting subject headers like "help me", "need tcl script" etc. shoot in their own feet and their topic dies of quite fast.

That's what you get with such a not-so-creative subject line :)

My 2 cents: Unattractive subject headings kill the thread already quite fast by itself.
No need for moderation unless moderators like wasting their time editing subject headings and closing topics.

I am not bashing ]Kami[ or trying to attack anyone. All I did was point out that his reaction was out of line and it was not necessary to get on the defensive like that. So I have nothing against ]Kami[ or any other user for that matter. I'm just here to learn and to help whenever possible.

As for Sir_Fz, I think his reaction was cool. Still game doesn't rhyme with pain :)

Concerning the real subject of this topic. Caesar's idea sounds like a good plan:
"[...] if not respecting the rules then the thread is closed or user get's a first warn, or something similar."
I hope something similar to that will be implemented real soon.

Yes, we need a kindergarten cop. Or better: a Terminator.

I honestly doubt that this forum will become empty.. dosen't matter what kind of language you will use I'll find a way to translate in order to see what you've said and track you down like a dog and put an end of your days
