When will there be an eggdrop supporting IPv6??

Eggdrop 1.6.* will not officialy support IPv6.

However, the code that will be implimented into eggdrop, is available at http://drummer.dhs.org/ipv6/.

This is semi official (in other words unofficial) and support can't be given here.

1.7 will (does - beta) support ipv6.

Which in the mean time, 1.7 should not be cared about, unless you are a developer.

It is comments like this, which invite users to use unstable software, and then wonder why they complain.

I posted the comment, due to the fact, that he told them 1.7 supports IPv6.

It takes only 8 more words in his post, to warn them he should not use 1.7. If they are not warned, then we get all the questions of, where do I get it, how does it work, why won't it work.

WHo would be to blame then.

I agree totally .. 1.7 is not beta, nor alpha, nor anything ready for anyone to use .. and too many people believe its usable ..
