could not say something to !channel in IRCnet

puthelp "PRIVMSG !channel :I like to say something!"

but my eggdrop does not say something on this !channel
on #channel it is working, but not on !channel

Does anyone knows something about saying something to !channels?

Check your net-type setting.

set net-type 1

this is correct for IRCnet...
I forgot to say that the Bot could op people and with

.say !channel something

the bot says something in the channel

puthelp "PRIVMSG [chandname2name !channel] :foo"
