Hello, does anyone have SSL patch for eggdrop 1.6.15 and can upload it somewhere for me? pftp.suxx.sk is down, and google can't find any other mirror
I searched the forum, but found only 1.6.13 patch. Thanks.

Near as i can tell the SSL Patch for 1.6.15 does not fucntion properly. (At least i haven't managed to get it working). It compiles just fine but it has a protocol mismatch when trying to connect to an SSL Enabled server. Nobody was able to offer any suggestions/advice when i asked about it either.

U remembered to add this to the eggdrop.conf file?
use-ssl 1
I haven't had any probs with it and I've setup a few ssl-enabled bots..

And what's the point of ssl in the first place? Paranoia or something?

Then why don't you build yourself an rocket and fly away in space? Can't you do that too?

I got the SSL patch to work with eggdrop1.6.15 using the eggdrop1.6.15-ssl.fixed.diff.gz and manually updating openssl to openssl-0.9.7c.tar.gz on RedHat 9 using the following command to compile openssl:
./config --prefix=/usr/local --openssldir=/usr/local/openssl

Have you connected to an ssl enabled port on an IRC Server yet. I was able to get it to compile but never was able to actually connect to my ssl enabled server.
Try irc.unbounddestiny.com port 3389
If it works i think i'll be rebuilding my bots soon
