My apologies to everyone for the lack of updates this month. A few weeks ago my notebook died and it was only a couple of days ago I was able to access its disk and retrieve the files I need to login and update egghelp.org. At the moment I'm getting things set up on a temporary PC so I'll finally be able to check your e-mails and update the tcl archive.

i know that feeling...my HDD crashed a few days ago, lost >100mb scripts and patches (not all selfwritten of course)...just have the stuff i had on my shell :/

All the best slenny. May the force be with you during such a hard task.

Actually, this is the best time people can tell us of their experiences with HDD crashes, and what they have done to successfully retrieve 100% data (without much of the running around). I'm sure not everyone has a beautiful story to tell, but I'm guessing.. a decent number.

Shoot! :)

NOTE: The purpose, ofcourse, will be help for people who haven't yet have had a HDD crash. (Like me :))
