I'm running netbots 4.09 and eggdrop 1.6.15. As you may know EFnet has the 2 new modes (new for efnet) +e and +I. Does netbots have the capability to issue a botnet wide command to add an exempt for a specific channel or will I have to add an exempt on each bot?
Thanks
Thanks for your response but I guess I wasn't very clear on what I want to do. The user that I wanted to put on +e is not a user on the bot. I get on a bot and do a .exempt *!*some@address.com #channel but that works fine because the bots are configured to use exempts, however, after a split sometimes the channel exempt list gets lost or purged when the server comes back. At this point some bots see the exempt and some don't. One way I have fixed the problem is to remove the exempt from the list in the channel and allow the bot to readd it so that all of the bots that are on the server that lost the list will get updated. I can't go on a single bot that sees the exempt and readd it because the bot won't do it if it's already there. So, what I was wondering was if netbots had a way to issue a botnet wide command like the .netchanset or .nettcl etc. so that all the bots that don't see it will refresh the channel exempt list.
Thanks
