Problem with netbots and botnetop

Post by crazyweb »

I am having a bit trouble with netbots and botnetop.

I have enabled botnetop in the netbots settingsscript, and the settingsscript looks all the same for alle bots.

When I tell the bots to join a channel, the first one who joins wont give op to the other bots.
I have turned on .console #channel * to see alle the messages, but I can't see the: "asking for ops" output.

It used to work, but after a restart, it wont work anymore.
All the bots are linked, and all of them replies to the .netinfo command.

Yeah, I fixed it.
I just had to add the new hosts for the bots.

There is a setting in netbots (cant remember where) that you can have them fix their own hostmasks

Actually, that setting is located in the botnetop component:

Netbots components - botnetop

and the setting is:

bop_hcheck  (default: 1)
This option performs a hostmask check over the botnet and should normally be enabled. If botnetop.tcl isn't working properly on a network with obscured hostnames (e.g. +x user mode), try disabling this option.

Valid settings: 1 to enable, 0 to disable.
