Tcl error [nb_dccnetbots]: no value given for parameter

Hello, I have 2 eggdrops (both v1.6.15) running netbots.tcl uhm.. version 4.0.9.

Eggdrop 1 is running on fedora core 1 (tcl 8.3.5-93), works perfectly
Eggdrop 2 is running on rh9 (tcl 8.3.5-88), and I keep getting this error:
Tcl error [nb_dccnetbots]: no value given for parameter "hand" to "join"
anytime I try to do something, like run the .netbots command to see which ones are linked, etc...

I also get the same error in other modules such as:
[21:42] Tcl error [nb_chon]: no value given for parameter "hand" to "join"

I don't get why it works on one machine, but not the other. I'm guessing the tcl versions are not the factor, but something else i'm missing

any ideas?

Have you tried to put the same versions of that script to bouth of the bots? I mean, put the same .tcl file to the bot that dosen't seem to be working peopertly.

Ya, it is the same version, I downloaded the netbots tarball on both of the machines within about 30 seconds of each other.

I don't see an obvious cause. Perhaps some leftover procs from an old version. Try shutting down and restarting the bot as a first step.
