weather 3.4.1

Post by fumps »

Hi.

I'm a TCL scriptiing noober, so please don't flame me for my lack of knowledge. :)

As a lot of people know, the weather script from blueday.org had some problems reading the website. There was a work around.

My problem is my .wz (zip code) doesn't work. .wz (city, country) does work. Unfortunately, because I'm newer to scripting, I'm not sure why the TCL is doing this.

A new script, weather 3.4.1 was released April 30th.

This also doesn't solve my problem.

Has anyone seen this or have a solution? If you give me your email I'd gladly give any files you need.

They defianatly have done something. I have been looking into it for over a week now.

Tried to upgrade to the newer version and all. Someone told me you had to have a http.tcl but i think thats is for the metro script.

I have looked around and they haven't changed their layoutl, but they must have changed the currentr weather feed that the tcl used.

if you knotice the .wzf for the forcast still works it is only the currect weather.

I have 4 bots running all with that script if anyone has a fix please let us know.

Thanks

Well, update is the .wz (zip) at least displays now.

[ 11:32:26 ]  [ @Buttercup-werk ] this one has changed 4 times in 2 weeks
[ 11:32:29 ]  [ @Buttercup-werk ] it's annoying
[ 11:33:42 ]  [ +Fumo|TWL ] wunderground?
[ 11:33:46 ]  [ @Buttercup-werk ] yup
[ 11:33:50 ]  [ +Fumo|TWL ] ya
[ 11:34:02 ]  [ @Buttercup-werk ] they keep changing the formatting

If the site changes that many times, how do you keep up with all?
