+f dont care !

Why does my Bot still keep kickin a user even when the +f is set on the user.
.chanset #genius flood-chan 8:30
this is the settin done in Dcc...and in my Config file I have set the value to flood-chan 0:00
i have done .save and even restarted ..but it keeps kickin.. Someone Please helppppppppppppppppp

.chanset #channel flood-chan 0:0 should work, or check global-flood settings in your conf file.

Do you run any sort of protection scripts ?
Do the bot recognize the user, ie. correct hostmask ?

I dont run any protection scripts, But i do use scripts for !op and so..
Ah..sorry not a USer its a Bot that i have set +f..so..when there is a change in hostmask..i duuno if it is updated.
is there a way i can set auto update the hostmask of the Bot

Yep.Type .+host bot-handle user-host (like: .+host somebody *!*@1-5-12.dsl.net)

thats not very 'auto' is it

I think slennox' botnetop has a function that updades the handle thru the botnet. but as i never used it I cant tell if it works fine

i did ".chattr Bot +f " again and it auto added the Host Name.
thanks it worked.
