My bot does not respond to /ctcp * chat

What confus me is, localhost (127.0.0.1). There should be bot's IP, but it's not.
Any solutions?

If you use firewall put it down and if you use router, open ports for dcc chat.If you still can't chat, then use telnet

Do you have
set nat-ip "127.0.0.1" ? I believe that is the default setting that comes in eggdrop.conf.

I say we have a section entirely devoted to the ctcp/dcc/telnet question !
Or like a huge bold blinking link, or maybe 10 popup windows everytime someone even thinks of "ctcp" or "dcc" or "telnet"
